Minimum Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
Skills & Abilities:
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills are necessary to perform at a high degree of proficiency. Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical manuals & procedures and government regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management and inter-department staff.
- Capable of working with peers and associates from other departments in a proactive and constructive manner. Ability to successfully engage and lead individual and team discussions and meetings.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply & divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
- Ability to provide effective training to department staff on areas such as SOP’s, Safety, Conduct, etc.
- Ability to apply all relevant policies in a consistent, timely and objective manner.
- Planning/Organization – Ability to prioritize and manage multiple priorities/deadlines and shift priorities as necessary. Uses time effectively.

- Bi-lingual English/Spanish a plus.

- While this position will primarily work in a manufacturing environment, this position may require travel to attend company events, staff meetings, training sessions & vendor fairs. May be required to utilize personal vehicle for business travel that may result in long periods of sitting.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
- This position may require overtime work on other shifts, evening and/or weekends depending on business needs.
- This position is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, elevated ambient temperature, moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals and outside weather conditions.
